Local Bookshops

22, Golden Square Shopping Centre, Golden Square, Warrington WA1 1QP, UK – 01925 658484

A very likable shop with a vast selection of books in the shelf and complete with an extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. The only issue that can be said is that it does not compete with the main online book retailers that are dominating the market place. Unfortunately I now tend to use this shop in the main to browse what I would actually purchase on line. I'm sure that's what other people do, however I can occasionally find something to buy that catches my eye there and then.

I love going to Waterstones and try to go once every week. The staff are helpful and really friendly! Definitely my favourite shop!!!

Book Aid Charitable Trust

123 Bridge St, Warrington WA1 2HS, UK – 01925 636944

Wonderful selection of books..more wonderfully priced and served by a real gent.

Amazing place, run by volunteers; a perfect place to pick up stuff to support you in your walk. Sadly only open one or two days a week at the moment, so ring before you go!

18 The Mall, Warrington WA1 1QE, UK – 01925 651376

Good service and well stocked shopped. What makes this a better than average place is the fact that there is also a post office within the premises. The PO is equipped with self service counters as well as manned positions. Several staff are also on the front to advise customers which would be the most favourable outlet for them.

Can always find what I need. We'll placed in the mall to pop in. Quick to be served.
